My first "real" camera By EPA316 I bought this summer in my high school years, and still I have. I mowed the lawn and worked odd jobs until he saved enough money to buy one with a 45mm lens, the summer of 1987. I learned a lot in this chamber, for example, how to control aperture and shutter speed, the need for a good flash, and teleconverters stacked behind a cheap lens is a poor substitute for a good zoom. This is the perfect camera for a beginner. It looks like a real camera, but it is loaded with many controls and buttons that is intimidating. I followed through with a Minolta X-700 and Maxxum 7000. I was ready for the switch to digital Minolta, then unfortunately stopped making consumer cameras! How dare. So I raised my hands and left the boat .. -Ahem-Nikon. Still, the value of all the lessons I learned in this chamber to continue to serve me.
