SLR quality from a compact camera!

This is a standout performer among the compact 35mm cameras because of the aspherical glass lens (highly, highly uncommon for this category of camera), wide zoom vary, compact size and array of options (date, flash choices, self-timer, infared remote activated shutter, and carrying case). My trusty Canon SLR with a broad assortment of lenses gets very little use. Hats off to Minolta for setting a brand new commonplace.
